iniquity (i-NIK-wi-tee) noun

1. Gross immorality or injustice; wickedness.

2. A grossly immoral act; a sin.

[Middle English iniquite, from Old French, from Latin iniquitas, from iniquus, unjust, harmful : in-, not + aequus, equal.]
