 PRONUNCIATION: MEANING:

From Greek xanthos (yellow). Earliest documented use: 1817. Two related
words are xanthodontous
(having yellow teeth) and Xanthippe
(a nagging woman).
 USAGE:
“It became denser, became a yellow fog of tiny, xanthic atoms, dancing endlessly.” Jack Williamson; Golden Blood; Tamerland Press; 1978. A THOUGHT FOR TODAY:Be master of your petty annoyances and conserve your energies for the big,
